I am Shelli Mullins, a Registered Nurse and Certified Professional Midwife. I have attended more than 400 home births over eight years, and I run an herbal farm in Elburn, Illinois, where I grow and cultivate the plants and medicines I use in my practice.

I came to midwifery because I believe birth is sacred. Not in a soft or abstract way. In a bone-deep, this-moment-matters, nothing-will-ever-be-the-same way.

When you invite me into your birth, I bring everything I know: the clinical training, the years of experience, the herbal medicine, and a deep reverence for what is unfolding in that room.

  • We meet in your home. You have real time to ask questions, share fears, and feel genuinely heard. Every visit.

  • I am with you from active labor through the first hours with your new baby. I do not leave until you are settled and your family is whole.

  • The weeks after birth matter. I visit you at home, checking on you and your baby, watching for anything that needs attention, and making space for the transition you are in.

  • From your first prenatal visit through your postpartum care, you have the same trusted face. No handoffs, no strangers in the room.

  • Full midwifery care from early pregnancy through the postpartum period. $6,500.
